PHP Developer

We have an immediate opportunity for a talented PHP Developer to join our exciting social entertainment company. Our environment is fast-paced and you will be responsible for developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes. You will work both independently and in small teams, and will collaborate significantly with senior leadership. Great opportunity for advancement as the company grows.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design core, backend software components
• Code using primarily PHP and JS
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources

Requirements:
• Knowledge of PHP
• Experience building large-scale server applications
• Expert knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ or object oriented PHP
• Experience with operating system internals, file systems, programming language design, compilers, distributed systems, or server architectures

Additional skills:
• Knowledge of Flash / Actionscript a plus
• Knowledge of Javascript a plus
• Comfortable working on both OSX and Windows
